STOIC (sa-to-ic)

According to Dictionary.com = One who is seemingly indifferent to or unaffected by joy, grief, pleasure, or pain.

According to a friend = One who keeps emotions inside...pretty good.

According to myself in Thai = คนที่เก็บความรู้สึกเก่ง

I looked up the meaning of this word. I think it's not about a per who can keep his emotions inside but rather it's about a person who is unaffected by emotions.

The difference is that the latter person doesn't feel anything at all.

I wish I could be stoic.
