Just when I thought I was a bad driver.

Just when I thank God I'm not driving in Bangkok, some incidents like this happens:
  1. Some slow dumbasses are driving on a fast lane.
  2. Some idiots with "no" driving skills are on the phone. Again, no skills.
  3. Some bastards think they build the road out of their pockets.
  4. Some that can't keep up with highway speeds, but love to be on one. There is something we call, local roads.
  5. They are just......................................
Can never complain enough about bad drivers--they are all over the place, all ages and genders. But the type that never fails to throw me off is those dumbs who just cut right in front of you then decides to immediately slow down. This daydreaming has come to my mind a lot where I wish I was driving a hummer and just smash right up their ass!!

Proactive

A few weeks back, a 14-year-old girl was abducted from a bus stop and raped at an empty house in the neighborhood in the dawn by we-don't-know-who-yet. It makes a HUGE deal in Indianapolis where this kind of crap does not happen on a regular basis (well as far as public knows.)

Now, I can rave about how sad and terrible this news is and how that rapist was born as an animal and so on for days, but my point is (and that I've shared my thought in a community online board just so you know): if you are going to prevent it, what should we do besides classic stuff like walking your daughters to the bus stop, enforce neighborhood watch....list goes on?

I just think the "law" should have been more severe, more uncivilize. If throwing people in jail doesn't do any good, maybe we should have had it written somewhere where the panalty aka consequences are severely uncivilized, say, once you catch the bad guy, throw him or her in the community. Let the guy do his term there. Let the community beat him up or.......ar...I really don't wanna say it, but bet, that'd work (and here is where I see a reminder for myself to find an anger management class, lol.)

Snow and Bad Drivers

Finally, out REAL snow has arrived, yesterday. Between 2-4 pm, it has already added up to 4 inches. I was sitting inside my office yesterday and all has been through my head was: "how the hell am I gonna make it out here?" Repeat.

Looking over to the main road, there were two things I saw: 1) cars getting stuck, not moving. Ten minutes later, same cars still parked on the same spot--probably been moving a few inches or so. 2) more snow. I heard a colleague saying something about I-70 was closed due to some semi-trucks wrecking. Our receptionist said her boyfriend had been on the road for 3 hours now. I called Dan, he said his tank was almost empty though he had been in his car for over 2 hours. Yesterday evening was such a wreck. I heard my boss pondered, "oh this snow is so beautiful!" Well, wait till you hit the road and say that again.

I'm an okay driver in a fair weather. I'm a bad driver in rain. I have become a desasterous driver when it comes to snow, and I know it. I'm dangerous to myself and a car nearby. Yesterday night, I managed to get home safely (surprise, surprise.) The whole way home, I was thinking what the hell I am doing here. Indianapolis is so damn cold and I'm definitely not made for it. Snow is pretty and dreamy, BUT wait till you see what it will look like the day after (such as today.) It's wet, nasty and very slippery. No so pretty afterall.

The Moody People

It seems that every time I am in a great mood, I always run into those bitch-ass bastards (excuse my language here) out there who act like they haven't slept in weeks. My problem is, these people turn their problem into mine. Moody is contagious as well as bad attitude. Like on my way back from the gym this morning, I was extremely in a great mood. My blood flew great, my crooked thighs felt alright, my mind was high..up there in the air, until I ran into this stupid bitch at Kroger. I don't even want to mention the details.

I think that book 'Don't Sweat...' should definitely be added into my smalll-size book collection. In case I, someday, feel like kicking somebody's ass. That book can be handy from time to time.

The Whole Nasty Divorce-Case # 1

I've just now realized, I'm a pretty damn good listener--so far I've acted as a personal counseler to two divorcing cases. Several years later, I am now aware I had picked a wrong major in college. School of Psychology should have been my picked over a decade ago. Damn it!!!

The two cases have something in common--marriages break due to cheaters and those shady affair behind the scene. This is ashame. It gets me to think: why does some people get married anyway when they aren't even ready for commitment? See, I'm not a holy gal. I'm a pretty opened-minded person. But at least, if I've messed something up, I'm not ashame to admit it. At least I'd say, "I'm sorry. I mess it up." Then learn from it. There is no point for a blame game when it though looks so obvious you are the one who causes all these problems. Ah--hem, okay, let's get to the point here. The first case happens to a guy I know. A few weeks back, he's told me about details of his divorcing journey.--it'd be final soon, and that he will be left with nothing. His soon-to-be ex-wife gets the house, the car and parts of his business profits. He has to pay for child support and last, but not least, he claims, "my kids hate me."

Oh...poor thing. That was my first thought. But wait. After he blah blah blah about his life, now I've got an insight. The dude has been messing around with other girls the whole time he's been married. And if you may ask me, he's been married to his wife for like 19 years or so. They have two daughters together--one is 18, one is 16. Now the girls definitely hate him for an obvious reasons. When the kids are that old, they aren't innocent anymore. C'mon, they know what's been going on. They know their mom's been crying. They know their dad ain't faithful to their mom, and on top of all, both are girls. Of course, they aren't happy about it. Now he is asking me why his kids hate him. C'mon now. You've got to be an idiot for not knowing the 'right' answer.

Last weekend, I got a chance to talk to his younger child. She told me about hearing her mother cries and fights between the two. Even though it's just a sentence, but I could almost feel her pain. Now, I look at this father dude. He is whining about why his kids hate him and doesn't get it why. Gosh....he should have thought about it when picking up random girls in bars. I don't feel sympathy, it's just very frustrating to hear. If you may wonder, I didn't really say anything back, but ask him if he really needs the answer from me. Of course, he looked away.

Like I said, we all make mistakes. But the thing is that when you do make mistakes, do you learn from it? Do you have some kind of guts to admit you fucked up?

Hating' the Immatures

I hate those immature people.

You know, those who doesn't age well--mentally. Those who are over 25 and act/ think like they are 12. I just hate them. Most people I know will recommend me to get over it. 'Immature will always be immature if they aren't willing to change.' That's right. Some say, 'Oh! don't sweat over small stuff. If they wanna be immature, let them be. Who cares!" That's right too. But heck! it bugs the shit out of me. That I probably need to get over myself.

Today, I've faced an immature bastard who couldn't handle rejections. The dude wanted to hear only stuff he wanted to hear, so when I said something he didn't expect to hear, he got all immature about it. What does it mean when I say he was acting all immature?

Mature people would have: Talk it out. Have a civil conversation. Express self nicely.
Immature dude: Decide to give me a silence treatment. Refuse to discuss how he feels.

See, the thing is that, him and I have been through this before over and over. I'm all about giving people second chance and stuff, but when the same craps have happened after several talks, I start getting sick of it. This time I have changed. I won't go above and beyond trying to explain myself anymore. Why? Why do people have to be so childish?

Stupid

When will people start to realize that drinking/ driving are an extreme stupid combo?

No I'm not saying I haven't done that before, but that when I was so immature, young and stupid. As I get older, media and authorities start to stricten laws and increasing my knowledge about what's so bad about driving while being drunnk, so I stop--completely. If I have been drinking, I will make sure I don't drive. If I know I have to drive, but wanna drink anyway, I will give it at least an hour and a half to sober up before putting myself behind the wheel. Or I will drink light and give myself time to sober up anyway. Worst case, if I wanna get wasted, I will drink at home. But some people don't have that mentality, they just plain drunk and don't care. So many news out there about this stuff, so many examples why they shouldn't do it, but oh well...that doesn't stop people at all. Personally, I believe these reasons should be enough for you to act like a responsible adult:

Reasons not to drink and drive:
1) Will kill yourself
2) Will kill others.

If above isn't enough to convince your stupidities, below are some more:
1) Your dead body after match will definitely look like pieces of leftover meats at a slaughter house.
2) Your dead body will be seperated in pieces and that your arms and legs might not be found.
3) You will cause your mom and dad to cry once they realize how stupid you turn out to be.

I hate that BIAAAACH

Let me just say how much I hate that dumb nurse working for my hot doctor!!!

The sad thing is I will have to remain in contact with her as long as I continue to go this same doctor. Sadly, he is hot and he is the one who operated my ear, so with these two combined, I will have to continue to see him, and yes, that nurse from hell.

When you have an operation, it's nothing like having a cold. There are tons of concerns, questions and follow-ups. Meaning, asides from the doc (who is always busy) I have to talk to the nurse whom I hate. Why do I hate her? Okay, here is the deal. Now...delete all the picture perfect of those kind and friendly and considerate ideal nurse you have in mind. This one is something different. So like I said, having a surgery isn't like having a cold. You will end up with lots of cares, questions and so on. Since I didn't go to med school or anything close to that, I definitely have lots of questions. I will ask. Why? Because it is my damn ear, and if I go deaf, yes, it is me who have to suffer later. Back to the nurse from hell, oh man, she hates answering questions. She is so jumpy and just has no patience like she's supposed to have. Lately, my ear acts all weird with pressure and stuff. I called and realized that I need certain medications. This girl is just too lazy to do all the work. She is not willing to work with my insurance to sort things out, simply because she 'feels' it will take her hours (reality check, this will take her like 5 minutes.) To make a long story short, I hung up the phone from her thinking, maybe it is the time for me to give up the hot doc, for a much better thing. People have told me I should discuss the matter with the doc, but hell, that hot dude doesn't know nothing. He probably is too busy to catch up with the latest news. I will not even bother to try.

Lesson Learned: Not all nurses are nice.

Confuse?

Yesterday, one of my friends complained about not being able to do what he wants to do due to obligations in life. He feels that he is a 30-something-year-old with no stability in life, comparing with those in the same age. He has no money, no job he loves and no one to settle with. Basically, the guy is damn depressed. He said he envies me that I seem to get it all together.

Oh c'mon, I don't get it all together. I still feel that I don't even know what I'm doing. If I look back several years ago, I don't think at this point, I've achieved what I have planned to do anyway. But I told him, I am still ok with where I am though. If I start comparing my life with someone else , I'd never be happy. To me, each and every person has their own way of running their life--some may wanna be rich, some may wanna travel and on and on. Mine is to sit and see what tomorrow has to offer, and that I'm ok with it. I think everyone entitles to choose what they wanna do, but from my observation, people complain too much of unfulfilling life, but choose not to take actions. Some people care too much about tomorrow, but don't really live their life for today. Frankly, you just don't know when you are gonna die and that, it can be tomorrow. Jeez, I'd regret my ass off if I only lived for the day after and happened to die on that day. So since I've turned 25 years ago, I start living strictly for 'today' and see where life takes me.
